ADam DAvis was 13 years old when he recorded « SHOUT OUT »

Phil Jackson BBC Southern Counties (presenter unsigned bands show)
Said in 2009 :

"The best demo we have ever had on this programme,
Phil Jackson show BBC SCR.
He might be only 14 years old.
He might not have Amy Winehouse as a godmother,
but judging by the size of the crowd in Churchill Square
whenever he busks,
and from the number of album he sells,
Adam Davis is showing all the signs of being a rising star.
I heard « SWEET REGRET »
While on a panel at the BBC
And this got the best reaction of the night.
Its great to see such an amazing talent at just 13"

A few words about "SHOUT OUT"

“SHOUT OUT” (2008). 10 original songs written & produced by Chicks With Hits (2008). Rights owned by Adam Davis Music.
In 2008, Adam met Chicks With Hits and they agreed to do an album together.
Some of the Chicks’ songs were ready to go; some were written especially for Adam. The recordings were done in one of the ‘Chicks’ front room, using a wardrobe with a blanket as a ‘sound damper’ for Adam’s sound booth – fed into an apple mac and final engineered in the studio.
The whole project took about 8 months, using weekends and some evenings. Everyone worked hard !
The final product is a very ‘Brighton’ affair – almost exclusively written and produced here – and with a ten page pullout booklet of Adam playing an old upright piano in various Brighton landscapes: Brunswick Square; Brighton seafront: Hove seafront; and The Dyke.
Adam’s thanks go out Big Time to all the people who moved out of shot so that we could get unimpeded photo’s.
The panoramic artwork is not graphiced. The front cover leap from the piano is real. The heavy upright piano found itself in the diverse locations thanks to four beefy men and a white van.

Quelques mots sur "SHOUT OUT"
